Home Churches
Robbie L. Rogers
Over twenty years ago God disclosed to me that what we called Church
would soon change drastically. Sound familiar? Yes some churches have
already lost their buildings due to simply placing them behind them
because the denomination they were aligned with no longer stood for the
things they believed were essentially the truth. Nevertheless, many stay
in churches that do not preach the Gospel and its truths. Rather they
preach the reflection they see in the worldly mirror around them, staying
even though they feel a tugging from Holy Spirit, they desire a unity of
people rather that of Christ. When will they learn??!
We are fighting Satan.... not man. They, those being used by Satan call
for dialogue, conferences, meaningful discussions, the need for unity...
all for the purpose of distraction, for buying time, that their agendas
may be pushed forward while pleading that good people remain silent in
unity. Yet, what will the unified people say when they stand before Jesus
as He says, "What did you do when they persecuted me?"
"He that is not with me is against me," Matthew 12:30
Still, today's struggle within the community of Christians is not what
God disclosed to me would happen, it is simply the precursor to the events
that will unfold in the very near future.
We will lose our church buildings and highly paid organizational
structure because they are hindrances and must be shed in order to become
the Church that Jesus will comeback to make as His Bride without spot or
blemish.
The very thing that we all seek, security, will be our downfall. We
will seek the world's security and not that of God’s.
Some time soon we will find ourselves unable to speak the Biblical
truth in public, including from the pulpits of believing Churches.
In the near future the Bible will be removed from all libraries
because it is judged by unrighteous men as a book that is spreading hate.
We, those of us who believe in the truth of the Bible in its entirety will
be branded or arrested for preaching hate. Hence, we subsequently will
become an underground church, not physically underground but home bound
and networked by a love of the Lord instead of the divisiveness of
denominational bearers, somewhat like the church Jesus left us in charge
of.
The church of the unbelievers will have the property and buildings
instead of the believers, the
great monuments, that were built by us is often if not in fact mimicking the world instead of the
Way as led by Christ.
Those who have control of the churches will call themselves Christians,
and only God can separate the sheep from the goats; but, readers of the
book of Matthew if read and inwardly digested and guided by Holy Spirit know the true meaning
and shall have no fear of
the judgment, for they are already judged worthy by their actions and
their love of the Lord. Those who are apostate in their beliefs, those who
remain in the church of apostasy, will reap their own reward.
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with
him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered
all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a
shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep
on his right, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those
on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom
prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and
you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger
and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you
visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' Then the righteous will
answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or
thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome
you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison
and visit you?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as
you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed,
into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was
hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I
was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe
me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' Then they also will
answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger
or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?' Then he will
answer them, saying, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of
the least of these, you did not do it to me.' And these will go away into
eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
Matthew 25:31-46
Satan never has and never will come up to you and say, "I’ve come to
steal your salvation." He is a liar and a thief. Ever so slowly he moves
the world in the direction he wants, so that we are lulled asleep, like
the frog in the pot filled with a warm cozy water. However, through the
years Satan has moved the temperature up, gradually and soon it will be
too late as we bask in our warm comfort; we may not even wake up
to the fact that it is too late and we are cooked.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and
love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye
cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24
Already many nations in the world are moving in the direction of
destruction to Christianity as we now know it. When did it begin? Some
believe 1,700 years ago when the ruler Constantine converted to a dirty
form of Christianity and made it the official religion of the Roman
empire. Still, he kept worshiping others gods, supporting them and
building temples, etc, during his reign. Before Constantine there were no
big church buildings, or priests, or salaries to gobble up God’s tithe.
Before buildings and the great bureaucracy buildup God’s tithe went where
it should have gone, to help the widows, orphans, the poor, and each
other’s needs.
Gradually the right became wrong; by looking at the world as an example
they built the reflection they saw around them and the modern day church
is the result.
Unfortunately, when most Christians leave the facilities due to
denomination splits, or such, they immediately begin planning how to
establish what they lost, except they want it to be free of the ways that
they ran away from.
Running from the lion they seek shelter in the bear. Without seeing the truth they strive to rebuild the same church and all
that they came to recognize as their comfortable warm water pot, or pew to
sleep in. By quickly striving to build a bigger better building to
confront the previous people they once were part of they must consume vast
quantities of money and talent. Yet, God will eventually see that it is all taken
away. Please read Bishops Kawashi's "From Maintenance to Missions"

Through Satan’s efforts the true "Bible Teaching Churches" will be
branded political organizations and the tax status that has enabled them
to hold on to their property and expensive ways of organization will
collapse.
"Scripture is undeniably clear that all who possess the indwelling life
of the Risen Lord comprise the real Church. The natural implication of this
glorious truth is that the church is a family whose members are joined
together, organically connected, and inseparably related by Devine Life.
One cannot join the church. If you are in Christ you are joined already
and that by birth (rebirth)." Frank A. Viola
If you were part of the first century Christian Church you did not need to jump
through religious hoops made up from man’s imagination or from watching
the world as it unfolds its true nature. You learned how to be a Christian
by being disciplined by your brothers and sisters in the Lord. You
would become mature as a Christian by being part of an active and alive
group of people who were held together by a common desire to serve the
Lord and preserve the Way, as it was called then. You ate together,
you struggled together, you were a family of the Lord. Although you
and your kind were in the world you knew you did not belong to the world
and as an alien you held little comfort in the things of the world, the
things that others strived for. In the "Church of Acts", you would
not need insurance. The Body took care of each others needs. The believers
beared each other’s burdens as an extended household, a shared life
community.
The church should never be run like a business, rather it should be a
loving family depending on one another, each working out their purposes as
a whole. This sounds complicated, but it is in fact simple; we have made
it difficult from years of creating what seems right in our eyes.
Instead
of looking at what the Bible says about Church we have created a more easy
to understand way of life. Live and let live. All the while we have
said those other people over there, those sinners who call themselves
Christians are destroying the good name of the church. Without
seeing, we have the bigger splinter in our eye, and in turn they are busy
doing the same thing saying, "I thank thee Lord I am not like that other
man over there."
We all have done substantial damage to Christ's
Church. We all have much to repent from. Even if a church has fabulous praise music and terrific speakers and
great evangelic programs but is not a close family of believers who
willingly pull their load and lovingly help others learn to do the
same, they cannot be truly a Biblical Church in nature. Loving one another must be of
paramount importance to the church or they are straying from the Bible’s
teachings.
May the Lord deliver us from being hearers of the word and not doers.
May we when the time comes be fully willing to walk away from the encumbrances of buildings and the American way
of the Christian expression to the one that seeks true worship and repentance.
To this point I believe we shall, all true believers, see Home Churches
as being the norm instead of strange; for I believe Jesus is waiting and
watching for this to happen so He can come and find His true Bride and
through His leading we will finally become without
spot or blemish.
Let us return to a New Testament reality, one that says that if we
belong to Christ then we belong to each other. Let us live as a household
of God so that the words of our Savior may be fulfilled: "By this they
shall know you are my disciples, that you love one another." |
