How
Can I Be Saved Too?
If
we are honest with ourselves, we all must admit we do
things that we know are wrong. Actually we seem to do
them often. From driving down the street in traffic, to
being in our workplace, or with our family,
we sometimes are not nice to each other, or ourselves.
Read
the Bible for yourself! In it you will find that all,
except Jesus, did many sinful and truly unrighteous acts.
Read
about King David, Abraham, Paul, Peter and the many
others. They all faltered, committing acts from murder and
mayhem to outright denying Christ. Yet, they all had the
potential of becoming the "Apple of God's Eye."
Most of those written about in the Bible became such, for they
sought out God and His forgiveness. It is yours too... if
you simple ask.
Become
the apple of His eye; He always
accepts us as we are, helping us to change. He does
this because He loves us, each and everyone! Not only that,
He seeks us out when we are in the wrong places, or doing things
we ought not, and leads us back if we let Him.
Our main
requirement to find Him when we are lost is to repent of our wrongdoings, our
evil ways, believing in Him and asking Him to forgive us,
turning from our former ways, doing an "about
face," so-to-speak.
Go
back to your father's house full of riches and joy to receive His
forgiveness and His blessings.
Can you grasp
this
picture. Run home to your Daddy, because you are afraid,
confused, hurting, angry, greedy, whatever it was that took you
on your pathway of destruction. We all know what those
things are. We are never ignorant of what they are, our
sinful natures, or fleshly ways.
Instead of continuing on in the direction of our destruction we
must learn to seek
Him and His ways; never forgetting, He always has infinite
patience with us and promises that He will not leave us alone,
nor will He fail to answer when we call out to Him from the ravages
of life, "Master save me!"
Yes
you too can be saved; God says so in countless instances
recorded in the Bible:
"Behold,
I Myself shall search for my sheep and seek them
out." Ezekiel
34:1
"For this is the will of the Father, that
everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him may have
eternal Life; and I myself shall raise them up on that last
day." John
6:40
"If you confess with your mouth
Jesus is Lord, and believe with your heart that God raised Him
from the grave, you shall be saved. For whoever will call
upon the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:9,13

PLEASE PRAY NOW AND ALLOW JESUS TO SAVE YOU! Where
you spend your Eternal Life depends on it!
Heavenly Father, I am so sorry for my many sins. I
have done wrong in the sight of man and God. I have done things
that no one would be proud of. I am ashamed of what I have done
and come to you repenting, wanting to turn my life around.
Please forgive
me of my past, my sins and wickedness, help me to turn away from them to return to them no more. Give me your strength, I pray, that
I may truly change from my old ways, even when the temptations come, for
they surly will.
I
now accept your forgiveness for your Word says You always forgive
those who ask, and I thank you. Help me to forgive others in the
same manner; show me Your ways that I may be seen as changed, that
people will see You in my life and not the darkness of my past.
I realize Jesus suffered and died
on the cross to save me and I am certain you raised Him from the dead just as
you promised; and, I want to receive that same Jesus who saved me into my heart right now, as both Lord
and Savior, as best I can at this time; I thank you Lord for accepting
me as I am, helping me to
change, and for having patience with me along the way.
Dear Jesus, please come and take over my
life, help me to be more like you. Help me to learn from your
example and to do as you teach me to do. Help me to learn to love
others as you love me, and help me to forgive and love myself
as you so graciously have already done.
I thank you for
coming into my life and I promise to search after and love you with all of my
heart as best as I can, for you have surely saved me from an eternal death in the deepest
recesses of your kingdom where there is a total absence of You.
Please send Your precious Holy Spirit upon me to help me witness to as many people as
possible about the ETERNAL LIFE you have freely given me.
Please help me
Dear Lord, to be faithful in the Church fellowship where you will place
me, guide me to that perfect place that I may truly worship you.
Finally
Lord, I ask you to put a true hunger within me to read as much as I can
of your Holy Word daily. I want to be one
of your servants and follow you ways into eternity. I love you.
In and through the Holy name of
Jesus Christ, Your only Son I pray. Amen. |
