I am so ashamed that in the course of my life, while angry, I told more than one person to "go to hell."

I wish I could go back and erase those words but I can’t. I thank God often that Jesus took all of my sins to the cross, including these, and paid for them.

Each time I sinned against Him it was recorded in the books to be opened on Judgment Day. However, on May 23rd in 1971 I repented of my "million" sins with many tears. As I asked Jesus to come into my heart the burden of them was lifted instantly. And God erased them from the books, Glory!

To me the best part of being saved isn’t going to Heaven but it is the knowledge that He has graciously forgiven me.

When He washed me in the Blood of Jesus He said, "I will remember Ben’s sins no more." Glory Hallelujah! In a single second God forgave me and accepted me as an adopted son. He even wiped his mind of all the terrible things I did plus the times I disobeyed Him too.

I now am free to approach Him at any time without shame.

HOW TO GO TO HELL

The Bible says, "He who is forgiven much, loves much." This describes me perfectly and I am so grateful for His mercy. If I were to be judged with justice I would not have a prayer. Billions are going to face judgment because they have refused the free gift of eternal life. Did you know God doesn’t require much of us to be saved? All He requires is that we believe upon His Son Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to live within us. The works that follow are automatic.

If you are calling yourself a Christian and not living daily for Jesus aren’t you a bit worried what will happen to you when you die? I wish I had a dollar for all the Christians who have told me they hope they go to Heaven. Once you are born-again of the Spirit of Jesus you will know that you know.

As America becomes a more secular nation we are forgetting that God created all things. Do you know, you are not your own, you belong to Him? God loves you and proved it by giving His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die for you. Who else could love you so much?

Did you know He has planned our lives perfectly. Until we come to know Jesus in an intimate way and begin to surrender to the Holy Spirit can we discover the exciting walk He has for us. I have so many testimonies now I could never remember them all. One day He will say, "Well done my faithful adopted son, enter now into the joy of your Lord." He knows that I have failed Him daily many times, but at the same time He knows I love Him and am trying to obey.

God has my name written upon His hand and my name in the Book of Life. He would never allow me to go to hell. Glory! This is one of the things that "winds my clock". I know I don’t deserve to live in Heaven. If He would forgive me He will forgive anyone. I believe He would have forgiven Hitler if he had fallen on his knees and begged for forgiveness.

There is one sin for which Jesus didn’t die. It is the sin of blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Jesus said there would be no forgiveness in this age or the age to come. If you are concerned if you have committed it, the fact you are concerned is proof you haven’t. This sin is so heinous to God that He will cut anyone off from His mercy. What is this sin? I believe it is simply not allowing the Holy Spirit to bring you under conviction. Which in itself makes it impossible for God to save you. And secondly, it is attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan.

Here is some good news; no one can send us to hell. Even if the whole Chinese army lined up and cursed us, as we passed by, they couldn’t send us there. But not responding to God’s love is surely a one way ticket to a place created for the devil and his unclean angels. God never planned for anyone to spend eternity in such a horrible place. He made the New Jerusalem, a city with golden streets, 1500 miles cubed in size to be our "heaven". This incredibly beautiful place is so spacious that over 113 billion people could live within it, each having a cubic acre of space.

It is up to you as to whether or not you go to hell. If you do nothing, you will. Surrender your heart to God and on one fine day in the future we will explore the Universe together. Anyone who refuses to surrender to Jesus will, by default, surrender to Satan. For 33 years I followed him. To be honest, I hated myself because I was so selfish. Praise God, this was one of the first areas of my life where the Holy Spirit begin to work. Now I love to give. All that I have is the Lords and I am but a steward.

I still marvel at the unbelievable deal God offered me. He took me and my junk and in exchange made me a son with eternal life. Are you willing to do the same right now? Putting it off offends the Holy Spirit and we must never do that.
