Faithfulness and fear of God are two key
character traits that qualified leaders to govern Jerusalem.
Faithful people can be trusted to carry out their work; God-fearing people can be expected to do so in line with Gods priorities. With these two qualities you are in position to expect God's direction toward leadership, faithfulness and reverence are two of the most important qualifications. Although other qualities may seem more impressive, faithfulness and reverence will always pass the test of time. Remember success is NOT measured by money, power and might, like the world teaches, but according to how well we follow God's leading, serving others while doing so. You are predestined, so Seek Gods Wisdom, God will reward you in doing so. Want to know more? Read on |
WHAT ARE YOUR PRIORITIES? Robbie L. Rogers PLEASE READ 1 CORINTHIANS 2:7-13 and JOHN, Chapter 3:1-21 and Chapter 17, and pray fervently for God's wisdom and true understanding when reading or hearing His word taught anytime, in doing so God will reveal great wisdom and simple things through the Holy Spirit. Usually it is the simple things, that mean so much; yet, in our hurried world we have the tendency to make simple matters complex, examining them too deeply; especially with respect to reading God's word. We often are held back from giving our all by the difficulty of living according to His unbending principles, not seeing the green pastures on the other side of the forest for the trees; through receiving a revelation from God, understanding, we can. Ask for it, expect it, act on it; Therein lies life abundantly. Please use the following Keys prayerfully, tempering them with what God has in store for you in your life. By applying them faithfully, they will help you obtain a successful and Godly living. In oneself lies the whole world, if you know how to look and learn, then the door is there and the key in your hand; nobody on earth can give you the key, or make the door open except yourself Here are thirteen principles to help you reach your goals, if you temper them with what God has in store for you in your life, remembering success is measured not by money power and might, like the world teaches, but according to how well we follow the leading of the Lord. 1. Establish a burning desire of your heart, strive after the Lord, institute a strong daily prayer and bible reading. Truly seek the Lord, thereby laying treasures in heaven while enjoying them on earth. 2. Have faith in Him and yourself, destroy that part of you that follows Satan's voice, tearing you down; cast out negative thoughts and destructive criticism. 3. Reaffirm the goals that you believe came from God, then go for it, allowing the Holy Spirit to become your best and constant companion; ask for His help in everything, creating prayer without ceasing. 4. Plan your way, count the cost, make sure you are strong enough in God to complete the task, and allow God to direct your feet whether to the right or the left. 5. Don't put off what you know should be done. Do it Now! Many have lost the anointing by procrastination. 6. Educate yourself in all aspects of what God has led you to; become an expert, never allow yourself to be lacking; especially do not fear the adversary you face, because you have prepared for the battle, and have faith He has sent you, not yourself. 7. Make decisions according to faith, knowing God's will, not tying yourself to the docks only to sink in a small squall; strike out in faith, everything that is not from faith is sin. 8. Don't limit yourself; let God lead you to completing your goals, knowing they may require supernatural response on your part, ask for God's help, intervention in your behalf. 9. Be persistent in what God has in store for you to do, like carbon is to steel! Do not be blown as the grass in the fields; rebuke Satan when he tries to defeat your efforts. 10. Get excited about your new life, believing you have won the battle before you begin, following the God of the universe! 11. Fill your mind with righteous thoughts, eliminate sinful thoughts, and strive after successful living through Christ, with the Holy Spirit to help you! 12. Fellowship with others like yourself, not with those who would drag you down. This is not to say you aren't to minister to those whom God directs you to. 13. Get a move on it; times a wasting; with just a blink of the eye you are here, then, well you be the judge. Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. |
