If you aren’t afraid to die, you are either a bit crazy or a Christian who has a living faith in the promise of Jesus Christ. 

     We who have accepted the gift of ETERNAL LIFE have received far more than this gift. We have received the Person of the Holy Spirit within our hearts to bring forth the gifts of the Holy Spirit so we can impact our world just as Jesus did in His day. 

     Not only this, but now we have been grafted into the Tree of Life that produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, longsuffering, temperance and faithfulness.

     Still, we are but a branch of the tree, and our Heavenly Father prunes us often,  why, that we may bare even more delicious fruit.

     Can you assure your family you will be there for them tomorrow? 

     I know I can’t, but I can assure them that if tomorrow is “my day” they will see me later on the streets of gold. 

     They know this and it gives them a level of peace that they can’t obtain anywhere else.

ARE YOU AFRAID TO DIE?

Christianity has never been a religion. Adam and Eve didn’t have religion, they had fellowship with God in the garden until they disobeyed Him. Jesus came to restore us to the same level of fellowship they enjoyed. The miracle of His death and resurrection on our behalf makes it possible for us to be instantly restored to the Father when we slip. I love 1 John 1:9.  "But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong."  This is a verse that every Christian should memorize as soon as they are saved. It is one of God’s best promises to us.

Now if you are not saved you are in extreme danger. In my hometown a few days ago, a man who is a sanitation worker about to retire, was killed as a driver crashed into his truck while he was placing refuse in the back.  I can assure you he had no idea that this was the last day he would be alive. His injuries were so severe even a life flight on a helicopter to the nearest hospital proved in vain. I write this from Montana and this accident occurred in Destin Florida so I don’t know if he had a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ or not but I pray he did.

God will do anything to save His family.  Just as I would do anything to save mine too!  And, we ARE His family because He said so.  When I sing AMAZING GRACE I shed tears.  Right now as I write this, my eyes are tearing. God has been so good to all of us. He sent Jesus to die the most terrible death so it would satisfy His need to punish sin. If you understand this you can join His family today. Why would anyone want to put Him off. There is no guarantee anywhere else in the world to match it.

Please remember God looks upon our hearts more that our actions. Please pray today and deny any claim Satan can have on you. Then become a serious servant of God. I use Ephesians 2:10 as a daily commitment prayer. "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."  You can too! 

Start today telling anyone who will listen to you that you are going to Heaven because God always keeps His Word. At this moment anyone can be saved. However, the Bible tells us there is a day coming when God will no longer strive with man. Please tell your loved ones, for no one knows when this day is coming.
